The Cottage is a new modern Retro Cottage with a view of the Queen Charlotte Sounds. A family home, The Cottage is decorated with an eclectic collection of locally made artwork, including paintings and wall sculpture, some created or designed by your hosts.

All rooms are fresh, clean and modern with new comfortable beds, high quality bedding, and fluffy towels.

Bush WalksQueen Charlotte Track

Stretching around the Sounds is the famous Queen Charlotte Track; 71kms of hiking trail renowned for its ridge-top panoramas and stunning scenery. You will find this a unique walk as it passes through historic bays, lush coastal forests and unsurpassed views of the Queen Charlotte Sounds and neighbouring Kenepuru Sounds.

Wineries Indulge you palette

Take a wine tour through any one of the many famous Marlborough Wineries, and experience some fantastic food and scenery. There are also many local artisan markets and food producers ready for you to discover.

Kayaking & BikingBeginner to expert trails

Mountain bikers of all levels will revel in the undulating landscape of the Marlborough Sounds. Or if you prefer, take to the water and explore the picturesque Sounds from a Sea Kayak. Guided tours are available, or simply set out on your own, in the safety of a double sea kayak.
